April 21, 2018 – IMAGINE a World Without Sexual Exploitation
A local Edmonton group, Honour Dignity Coalition, in partnership with Defend Dignity, is hosting a community event on sexual exploitation on Saturday, April 21, 2018. The event will take place from 2-4:30 PM at Central Baptist Church (9419 95 St, Edmonton)
IMAGINE a World Without Sexual Exploitation is an invitation to be part of creating change for women, men and children in Canada. Trisha Baptie (advocate/community organizer/abolitionist/citizen journalist) will speak on her experiences as a formerly exploited woman. Join us to hear her unique voice and learn more about her work across Canada confronting demand for sexual exploitation. Proceeds from the event will be used to support survivors of sexual exploitation. Join us – be part of a conversation to end sexual exploitation and create a better community.
Tickets cost $10 online, or $15 at the door. Concession snacks will be available.
