Vibrant.
Recently a friend sent me a card with this word on it, and it got me thinking about some of the things it brings to mind. How about you? What does the word vibrant make you think of?
There’s a certain something to it, and perhaps there is no more perfect word for this fall season we’re now in as the leaves change colour and paint our neighbourhoods in picturesque reds, yellows and oranges.
Vibrant also makes me think of words like energy, enthusiasm, relevance, strength, and purpose.
Here at Defend Dignity we want the word vibrant to describe the work we do. We strive to be full of energy and enthusiasm as we host awareness and education events, such as our Digital Dignity webinar series launching next week. We want to be purposeful as we give aid to survivors thanks to your generous gifts to our Survivor Support Fund. And we want to be strong and relevant as we talk to MPs about the need for age assurance laws to keep our kids/youth safe online!
It is your financial gifts that enable us to be vibrant in our work, and so this Thanksgiving I want to let you know how deeply grateful we are for your generous support. On behalf of Defend Dignity’s board and staff, thank you!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your loved ones.
