Defend Dignity is excited to share that we’ve officially received our independent registered charitable status. This is another milestone in the journey of Defend Dignity which began as a small social justice initiative under The Alliance Canada in 2010 and has grown to become a respected national voice on sexual exploitation issues.

“We are so grateful to The Alliance Canada for supporting a fledgling vision and making our work’s rapid advancement possible,” said Defend Dignity’s director Wendy Lowe. “They continue to be our champions and intend to encourage our work in various ways. We are excited to explore new opportunities to impact Canada as an independent charitable entity through our aid, advocacy and awareness initiatives as we continue to work to end sexual exploitation.”

Thank you to everyone for your support as we take this next step in our growth as an organization!
